The world has a right to unfold-
In every variety of its faces-
The world has NO right to dictate-
MY developmental phases–
The world has a right to evolve-
Whatever direction it chooses-
The world has NO right to impose-
Neither judgments on me nor its duties–
The world has a right to declare-
Its logical evanescence-
But there is no such thing in the world-
As unchangeable circumstances–
The world has a right to be good-
To be bad, or to be evil-
But the world has NO right to kill me-
Without upheaval–
The world has a right to fulfill-
Every imaginable direction-
But if it leads inwards and keeps me STILL-
It might get MY attention—
